Twilight Eclipse Dvd Launching Time Frame - Twilight Followers Wish To Know When
When Twilight was launched on DVD, it sold 3.8 million units in the first two days, creating more than 180 million dollars in DVD selling. New Moon was even better, selling 4 million versions in the first weekend. Now that the Eclipse dvd release date is getting nearer, will the Eclipse dvd manage to set a new history for the franchise?
The hype about the Twilight series is based on the huge success Stephenie Meyer got with her first novel. Additional sequels followed the pattern as the viewers was hungry for new expeditions of their heroes, Bella, Edward and Jacob. As the films were released, fans were happy by an opportunity to see the story in film. Twilight fans are now anxious to find out the Twilight Eclipse dvd release date. And with Breaking Dawn announced for 2010, it will be four movies in four years, maximizing the marketing effect.
The producers intended to take Eclipse in a slightly different approach than the earlier two movies, so they signed up David Slade to direct it, since Chris Weitz turned them down, stating that he was very busy with completing New Moon. In addition to adding more action than in former movies, Slade was more concerned with stating a good story, than simply being different. The Eclipse dvd will definitely be well-liked.
New action scenes have moved the Eclipse dvd into action/ horror-thriller, which will obviously appeal to a much broader audience than Twilight and New Moon. As the horror spreads throughout Seattle, Belle is trapped between her darling vampire Edward and her pal werewolf Jacob, who also has ideas for her.
The ancient opposition between vampires and werewolves is held at bay by a fragile truce, to which both parties agreed only because of Bella. The situation is complicated by Victoria, who is looking to enact her revenge upon Bella for the death of her boyfriend in a previous chapter of the saga. Edward and Jacob will have to work together if they are to prevent Victoria's army of newborn vampires and rescue Bella.
"Bring back Rachel" was the most found words on Twitter on July 29th 2009. This was the day when Summit Entertainment declared that they are substituting her with Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria in Eclipse. They actually made her a tribute video on You tube. Rachel mentioned that she was overwhelmed by the fans' support. However, even though she did a good job acting as Victoria in the first two pictures, we have to be fair and say that Bryce Dallas Howard acted the role quite well in Eclipse, playing a baddie.
The final sequel of the saga, Breaking Dawn, will roll into pre-production in 2010, although Summit Entertainment yet hasn't approved the final adaptation. Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote the screenplays for the initial three movies, is also responsible for the fourth.
While there is not yet an official date for the Twilight Eclipse dvd release date, it is sure to be a hot subject in the next few months. Along with the news of the release date will also come news of special bonuses likely with the dvd.
