This Is Exactly What Occurred To Me Personally When My Personal Hp Color Inkjet Printer Stopped Working
My old HP Deskjet color inkjet printer quit working precisely when I was about to print my most important document. Needless to say, that document was also urgent. Somebody might believe this is because of Murphy's Law.
I don't know you, but I personally feel really uncomfortable trying to find a print service shop at eleven of the night. I took my car and moved downtown. The shopping mall has some stores that open 24 hours a day, I was thinking that with a bit of luck I could find one that also had a print service.
I parked my car in the practically empty parking (in the daytime you have to wait at least 10 minutes before you can actually find an empty place where to park) and moved into the shopping center. As I've never been at the mall by night before, I felt pretty weird doing it, just like if it was a teenager's escapade.
After walking around I realized that just about all the stores in the shopping mall were in reality closed, with the exception of the night club, a coffee shop and a little restaurant. Just when throwing the final glance prior to going away I noticed in a corner what looked like a little drugstore with people in.
I went back in the mall to ckeck out, just to make sure I wasn't leaving absolutely nothing undone and... Surprise! The very first thing I saw from the shop window was a big industrial color inkjet printer plotting a complete colored close-up of a house's façade. There you are: just while I was about to go away I really found what I was searching for!
I walked in the store which in reality looked most like an office. The young employee that attended me explained that they usually work for architects as well as designers and due to the fact that they had a backlog of work they were working till late at night. However, because they ended up printing large volumes, she could print out my document as well, doing it as a favor to me.
After that she took my personal usb memory and walked to the backroom, where a number of laser and color inkjet printers of any shape and size were working restless. She went back after a couple of mins with my personal document printed, smiled and said: "here you have it!"
I thanked her saying that I was truly thankful for what she did, and regretted not really being an architect or a designer to make a better use of their professionalism and kindness.
I said her good bye, went back home likely to purchase a new printer when I could. Hopefully a new deskjet color inkjet printer.
